The third annual Des Moines Zombie Walk will be head at Brenton Skating Plaza, downtown Des Moines, IA. Please review the map if your not familiar with the area.
If you need help with your makeup before the event, you can go to The Blazing Saddle from noon until 2pm. Some artists will be donating their time, others will be charging for their service. Any donations you are able to offer them is greatly appreciated. Make sure to become a fan of The Blazing Saddle on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. If you have pictures from last years Des Moines Zombie Walk, please share them there with your memories of the event! We will be having a great deal of new information this year! This is a family friendly event, all are welcome! This event is free, we are asking for donations to Central Iowa Shelter & Services. You can find out what they need on their needs list, you can also follow them on Twitter. Bringing a donation is not a requirement to be part of The Des Moines Zombie Walk. We do hope that you will think of others less fortunate than yourself and do what you can to help. Thank you in advance for your support.

Is this a pub crawl similiar to the Minneapolis one?

I’m not sure what all was done at the Minneapolis pub crawl. This event is a family friendly event. We will be walking through downtown Des Moines, IA. We won’t be stopping at any bars.
