Our Cause
Hello and thank you for checking out the website. We are in the process of updating everything for this year’s Third Annual Des Moines Zombie Walk. In 2009, the first year we had just over one hundred people show up. In 2010, we had just over three hundred and twenty five people. We are hoping to have between five hundred and a thousand people this year! We hope you will join us! The past two years we had many people that stopped by just to see what was going on and see us walk first hand. Many people dropped of donations, because they liked the idea. Our impact on Des Moines has continued to grow and we hope this year will be no exception.
This is a family friendly event, all are welcome. This event is free, we are asking for donations to Central Iowa Shelter & Services. You can find out what they need on their needs list, you can also follow them on Twitter @CI_Shelter to learn more. Bringing a donation is not a requirement to e part of The Des Moines Zombie Walk. We do hope that you will think of others less fortunate than yourself and do what you can to help. Thank you in advance for your support.
